Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary

The Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary is located in the old town of Senj, Croatia offering magnificent views of the Adriatic sea. The building is a Lombard-inspired renaissance style cathedral, and was built in the 16th century on the remains of an old Gothic church. Its tower holds traditional thick stone walls and its ceiling is adorned with Baroque frescoes.
