Bixby Bridge

Bixby Bridge is one of the most photographed bridges in the world and a popular tourist attraction near Monterey, California. Built in 1932, this picturesque bridge is a single-span concrete arch bridge that crosses Bixby Creek and Big Sur along the southern coast of the Big Sur area and is regarded as a symbol of California. At 220 meters long, the bridge is not only long but also beautiful, with its elegant stone towers, curved arches and sweeping views. Visitors can park near the bridge and walk across it to take in the stunning views of the California coastline, the mountains and the redwoods. Nature enthusiasts will also be able to spot rare plant species as well. There is a trail that follows the road and makes for a great day trip option as well.
