Abernodwydd Farmhouse

Abernodwydd Farmhouse and St. Fagans National Museum of History are two connected attractions near Cardiff in the United Kingdom. Abernodwydd Farmhouse is an old farmstead dating back to the 1600s and is the oldest surviving property in the St. Fagans National Museum of History. It was extensively restored in 2007 and is now open to the public. The museum itself holds over forty historic buildings that have been collected from all over Wales and collected together in an outdoor living history experience. In addition to the farmhouse, the museum complex also includes an Iron Age roundhouse, an 1880s chapel, a variety of other Welsh cottages and houses, working craftsmen, gardens, and more. All together, St. Fagans gives a unique opportunity to explore the rich cultural history of Wales and experience it first hand.
