Rheinfall

The Rheinfall, or Rhine Falls, is one of Europe's largest waterfalls. Located in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, Switzerland, on the High Rhine, the falls are nearly 23 meters (75 feet) high, and 150 meters (490 feet) wide. The dramatic force of the Rhine Falls is a breathtaking spectacle of nature, with the crashing water and mist carrying a heavenly spray of droplets across the landscape. Visitors to the falls can enjoy spectacular views from the viewing platforms placed nearby, and a boat ride around the falls and up to the rock face is also available, for an additional fee. The Rhine Falls park also provides picnic spots and walking trails, as well as souvenir shops and restaurants.
