Kirkjufell Mountain

Kirkjufell Mountain is a stunning 1,512-foot-high peak located in Grundarfjörður on the Snaefellsnes peninsula in West Iceland. It is known as the “Church Mountain” because of its unique shape, and is one of the most iconic sites in Iceland’s landscape. Its picturesque location with the nearby waterfalls and lagoons added to its beauty. The mountain offers superb hiking trails up to the summit, and provides breathtaking views of the west and south coast of Iceland.
