Hoonah-Angoon

Hoonah-Angoon is a region in Southeast Alaska, United States on the Alexander Archipelago. It consists of three communities: the fishing town of Hoonah, Pelican town and the village of Angoon. The people of Hoonah-Angoon are predominantly Tlingit, an Indigenous people of the Northwest Coast. The region is renowned for its dramatic mountain and glacier views, deep fjords, and its rich cultural heritage.
