History Center

Oklahoma History Center is a remarkable and extensive museum in Oklahoma City which vividly brings to life the state’s past. Located in Oklahoma City, it offers a fascinating journey into the American West where you can relive the history of the Trails of Tears, and explore pioneer forts and homesteads. The museum comprises 31 galleries detailing the state’s development, from Native American history, to the old west, to 1920s pop culture. Highlights include historical artifacts spanning 400 years, a famous Stagecoach and ‘The Golden Driller’, a 46-foot tall statue of an oil worker. There are interactive stations, galleries and educational sessions offered on a regular basis. And daily tours through the museum in an open-air tram.
