Alpensee in Filzmoos is a scenic lake located in the Austrian municipality of Filzmoos. It is in a back basin of Pongau, a province in the Austrian state of Salzburg. The lake is surrounded by majestic mountain ranges, making it an ideal destination for hikers, nature lovers, and photographers. The area features hiking trails, rock climbing and other activities. There is a cable car which will take you to the peak of a mountain and offers an incredible view of the picturesque landscape. Additionally, visitors can explore the area by taking part in the traditional climate-friendly form of transportation- horse-drawn carriages. A local swimming pond is also located nearby, allowing visitors to take a refreshing dip in the summertime.
