Parliament House and Entrance Hall in Australia's Capital Hill is home to a historic building, from which Australia is governed. The building was completed in 1988, and it is seen as a symbol of Australia's commitment to democracy. The building is located on the banks of Lake Burley Griffin and offers stunning views of the surrounding city. It is easily accessible by public transport, or by car. The building has a number of interesting features, including a Fresco Wall in the Entrance Hall, which depicts prehistoric animals and native scenes in vibrant colours. Other highlights include the Grand Hall, built in a neoclassical style, and the Marble Hall, a space that features marble sculptures of Australia's first six Prime Ministers. Visitors can tour the building, or take a guided tour which includes a visit to the members' rooms. There is also a range of other attractions, such as the Aboriginal Tent Embassy, the Rose Garden, and a number of statues and memorials. Parliament House and Entrance Hall offer visitors an opportunity to learn more about Australian democracy and history.
