Jephson Memorial

The Jephson Memorial is a historic monument located in the town of Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. Built in 1901, the memorial commemorates Dr. Henry Jephson, the local doctor and philanthropist who was responsible for the restoration of River Leam and Leamington Spa's gardens in the 19th century. The memorial is made of Portland stone and stands 35 m tall, with its remarkable shape resembling a Corinthian column. Atop the memorial is an angel with a trumpet, while below it are statues of eight representatives of local trades. It is one of the most famous landmarks in Leamington Spa, with spectacular views from the top!
