The construction of the signal tower began in 1845, when King Fernando VII laid the first stone. Visiting the Far de Favaritx will provide you with an incredible view of the Mediterranean, along with the local mountains and other minor isles. There are also impressive archaeological remains, such as Cabo Regana, a Roman Period settlement and the remains of a pre-historic talayotic settlement. The Far de Favaritx is open daily and admission is free. There are also many restaurants and cafés nearby as well as a picturesque beach.
