Château des ducs de Bretagne

Château des ducs de Bretagne, located in Nantes (France), is one of the most important monuments of French heritage. It is one of the largest surviving medieval castles in Europe. Built by the counts of Anjou in the 13th century, it was expanded by the Dukes of Brittany in the 15th century. The castle is now open to visitors and offers a tour. You can explore the magnificent architecture and inner courtyard, where a collection of statues can be seen. Inside, there is a museum that houses unique artefacts, objects and a special collection of furniture from the 16th century. Guided tours or self-guided tours are available all year round.
