Blautopf

Blautopf (“Blue Pot”) is an incredible and mysterious deep blue lake found in the town of Blaubeuren, Germany. This 82-meter-deep sinkhole hole is the source of the Blau River, and the origins of its striking blue color are still a mystery. It is historically believed that it is one of the most mysterious and magical places in the area, and its waters have been used in ancient ceremonies. The rock wall that surrounds the lake is made of a special mineral that acts like a reflective surface, creating a fairy-tale atmosphere in the area.
