The Bay of Fires is a stunningly beautiful protected area in Binalong Bay, Australia. It stretches for about 30 km, with bright azure water on one side and strikingly white silica sand on the other. This unique natural feature is composed of pinky orange granite rocks and its beauty has earned it a place on the Australian National Heritage list since 2007.

This place is an absolute must for any adventurer heading through Tasmania. Whether you are looking for an invigorating walk down brightly coloured beach, enjoy stargazing under its clear night sky, or simply revel in its spectacular views, the Bay of Fires is a great place to go. You can also explore the area's many walking tracks, which take you across rivers, estuaries and bushland. Nearby, you will find the Skeleton Bay Reserve. It was established in 2008 to protect a number of important habitats and plant species, including the critically endangered Tasmanian Grasstree. The reserve is home to a variety of native animals and birds, and offers excellent opportunities for bird watching.
