Bastion de l'Etendard

Bastion de l'Etendard is an imposing fortification that stands sentinel over the cliffs of Bonifacio in southern Corsica, France. Built in 1583, it stands atop one of the highest points in the area and has views out to sea. Accessible by a winding road off the main coastal road, it is a must-see for anyone visiting the region.
