Sea Lion Caves

Sea Lion Caves is the largest sea-cave in the United States, and the only one that is open to the public. Located three miles north of Florence, Oregon on the picturesque Oregon coast, the cave is inhabited by large sea lions, some of whom can be seen from the outdoor observation deck. Visitors can also take an elevator ride inside the cave to get a closer look. Inside the cave, there is a variety of formations, including stalactites and stalagmites. There are also a large number of sea birds that can be seen in the cave. Sea Lion Caves also has a gift shop and a museum which exhibit a number of artifacts, including Indian artifacts, fossils, and an observation tower.
