Prasat Phra Thep Bidon is located in Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang, Thailand. The monument was built in the late 16th century and is rumored to have been built by King Naresuan the Great. It was originally used as a fort to guard the city from enemies. Prasat Phra Thep Bidon is also known as the Temple of the White Elephant due to the skeletal remains of white elephants that are believed to have been found there. The temple is characterized by its tall white prangs, which are topped with multi-tiered stepped roofs. The temple is beautifully decorated with glazed tiles and lacquered frames, carvings and images of Hindu deities.
