Ponytail Falls

Ponytail Falls is a passionate 40-foot waterfall near Cascade locks, Oregon, USA. It is a popular spot among hikers and photographers because of its breathtaking spectacle. You can get close to the waterfall as it cascades down a V-shaped slot. In addition, this falls is also famous for being an excellent spot to view bald eagles as it is right on their migratory route. The only way to get to the falls is by a 5 miles hiking trail that runs alongside the Columbia River Gorge. There are numerous overlooks along the trail, each providing its own view of the falls, Columbia River and its beautiful surrounding.
