Osning-Sandstein

Osning-Sandstein is a nature reserve located in the Horn-Bad Meinberg region of Germany. It covers an area of around 2100 hectares and is one of the largest nature reserves in the country. Here you can find a variety of landscapes including woods, meadows, lakes and bogs, as well as an amazing variety of flora and fauna. The area also includes some spectacular sandstone formations which were created by weathering and erosion. There are plenty of trails and paths throughout the area, providing visitors with plenty of opportunities to explore the landscape. There are also a number of visitor centers which offer educational programs about the local environment. Osning-Sandstein is a great place for nature lovers, hikers, bird watchers and photographers.
