Lake Shore Dr and North Ave beach

Lake Shore Dr and North Ave beach, in Chicago, United States, are two of Chicago's best beaches along the downtown shoreline of Lake Michigan. The beach offers plenty of recreational activities, including beach volleyball, bike and skate rentals, fishing, sightseeing and swimming. The water is supervised by lifeguards during the summer months. There are numerous sand volleyball courts in the area and two piers. The Chicago skyline is visible from the beach and makes for a great backdrop for photos. During the warmer months you may get an excellent view of the city skyline, especially at night. Guests can visit at any time of year, but the most popular activities are water sports during the summer months. Social distance guidelines must be observed.
