Lago di Carezza

Lago di Carezza, in Welschnofen, Italy, is an alpine lake located in the Dolomites of south Tyrol. Its name comes from the Ladin language, meaning "rainbow lake" for the spectacular reflection of the prismatic colors on its surface. Its crystal clear waters, surrounded by the magnificent mountains, are a sight to behold any time of year. You can rent a boat and do some fishing, kayak, or take a leisurely stroll around its periphery. There is also a scenic path from the lake to the top of the nearby monte Latemar, which has some incredible views. There is also a ski resort nearby where you can explore more of the area. No matter what time of year you go, this is definitely a destination worth a visit!
