Hiroshima Castle

Hiroshima Castle is a stunning castle located in Hiroshima, Japan. It was originally built in 1589, but was destroyed by the atomic bomb in 1945. It was rebuilt in 1958, and it is now a stunning sight to behold with its beautiful outer walls and five-tiered castle keep. Inside the castle, you can find many artifacts and displays related to the castle’s past and Japan’s history. The nearby Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park is also worth visiting, as it contains a museum and memorial which commemorates the horror of atom bomb attack and hopes for peace in the world. The castle is free to visit and is open every day of the week except for December 29th and 30th.
