The Hatshepsut Temple is an Egyptian Temple located in the Al Qarna Desert of Egypt. This archaeological site is the remains of an ancient temple complex that dates back to the early 16th century BC. The temple is believed to have been built for the Egyptian Queen Hatshepsut, who was the fifth Pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty. The temple consists of five main chambers, each containing a variety of columns and statues. The most impressive of these are the six large Hathor statues, which are currently the only intact statues still standing in the area. Visitors to the temple will be able to explore the inner chambers of the temple, as well as walk around the outside walls which are adorned with numerous hieroglyphs and inscriptions. The temple is situated on a rocky cliff face, allowing for dramatic views of the surrounding desert. The site is surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation and provides a stunning backdrop for photography.
