Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower, in Paris, France, is an iconic structure that has been an integral part of the Paris skyline since it was constructed in 1889. Standing at over 300 metres high, it is the tallest man-made structure in France. Its wrought-iron lattice work is synonymous with Paris and uniquely reflects the art nouveau style of the era. It is also an incredibly popular tourist attraction with 7 million annual visitors and a total of 300 million since its opening. From the top of the tower, visitors can appreciate stunning views of the city and beyond. There is also a glass floor panel for anyone brave enough! Visitors can get to the tower via the stairs, lifts or elevators. The Tower is also the focal point of many sights and is a great spot from which to explore Paris further.
