Château d'Ussé is a stunning château located in the Loire Valley of France. The castle was built in the 16th century and is one of the classic examples of the French Renaissance style. The site includes the château, a beautiful garden and a moat. Inside the castle you can see a painted wood interior, ornate furniture, tapestries and frescoes from the court of Louis XIV and XV. It is also known as ‘the castle of the Sleeping Beauty’ and it is said to have inspired Charles Perrault’s fairytale. Every year, thousands of visitors come to Château d'Ussé to marvel at its beauty and artistry.
