Bundeshaus

Bundeshaus in Bern, Switzerland is the home of the Swiss government. It houses the national legislature, the Swiss Federal Assembly, and the Swiss Federal Council. The building was constructed between 1894 and 1902 and is a great example of Swiss 19th century neoclassical architecture. Inside, you can visit the Great Council Hall, the Federal Assembly Hall and the Duke of Mecklenburg Hall, as well as the chambers of the National Council and the 13th century Council of States. It is also the home of the Swiss National Library and the Historical Museum. Guided tours are available, allowing visitors to explore the historical building and learn more about the country's history. Outside, the building is adorned with buildings and fountains, with a number of sculptures throughout the grounds. It's a beautiful place to wander and take pictures!
