Berlin's impressive skyline of tall buildings is packed with architectural highlights, from gleaming mirrored post-modern cubes to Gothic-inspired high-rises. Stunning views of the city can be seen from several vantage points, such as the TV Tower at Alexanderplatz, and from various points along the River Spree. Easier (though no less rewarding) views can be had by walking up the Oberbaumbrücke bridge, or through a visit to the Colonial-style Kurfürstendamm Church, which towers over one of the city's main shopping destinations. Other popular spots to take in the captivating architecture are the press-club rooftop, the beach at Badeschiff or elevated Metro stations such as Kürfürstendamm.
