Crater Lake, Oregon is a stunning natural wonder. At 1,943 feet (592 meters) deep, it's the deepest lake in the United States. Popular activities include hiking, camping, picnicking, and fishing. There is a trolley ride and boat tours in summer too. The 33-mile Rim Drive and the 32-mile hiking trail will surprise you by its grandeur. You can also visit Wizard Island, a cinder cone, and the iconic Llao Rock. July to September is the best time to visit and explore the area.
