The Porch of the Caryatids and the South East point in Athens, Greece were two prominent structures in Ancient Athens. Located on the south-east slope of the Acropolis, the Porch of the Caryatids is a marble entrance adding aristocratic beauty to the entrance to the monument. The Southeast Point is the peak of the hill and is surrounded by the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the monumental stair of Philopappos, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Propylaia. It was believed to have been the highest point of the Acropolis and the view from this point is breathtaking. Today, after hundreds of years of wear, these two monuments remain, spectacularly standing and lovely to view from afar. Although the Porch of the Caryatids is in ruins, it is a still a sight to behold.
