Sesimbra is a typical Portuguese fishing village in the Setúbal district with a small but vibrant historical center, many areas of natural beauty and wonderful beaches. The town's small harbour is wonderful for boat trips, fishing or just sitting on the walls with a beer, watching the fishermen weigh their catches or return from the sea.
The beach of Estrada de Argeis is a secluded paradise close to the Sesimbra Harbor. With crystal clear waters and gentle waves, its a perfect place for swimming, sunbathing or simply relaxing. Although not very known, it's highly recommended for nature lovers, especially for its wildlife but also for its remarkable landscape. Be sure to bring a picnic to the beach, as the nearest beach bar can be quite distant during the evening.
