Schokland Haven is a beautiful natural harbor located in the Municipality of Schokland. A trip to Schokland Haven is highly recommended for all nature-lovers as well as for bird watchers. The rich wildlife of the area can be seen from the harbor, including various fish, sea birds, and even seals. The harbor is surrounded by sand dunes and mudflats, and its unique composition can be observed from the top of the dunes. Visitors can enter the harbor through the the old Blauwetoren dike, along the Afsluitdijk from which one can enjoy spectacular views. There are also several hiking and cycling trails crossing the harbor for visitors to explore.
