Royal Chapel

The Royal Chapel in Gdańsk, Poland is a stunning Roman Catholic chapel on the grounds of the former royal palace. Constructed in the 16th century, it is one of the most remarkable examples of Renaissance architecture in Poland. The chapel is a two-storey building with arcades, a west-facing entrance and stunning terracotta sculptures on the facade. Inside, the Chapel has a star-vaulted ceiling, ornamental frescoes and an altar crowned with a sculpture of Mary and Jesus.
