Playa Carabeillo

Playa Carabeillo is a stunning beach located in the holiday resort of Nerja, on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. The beach features crystal clear water and a beautiful golden sand that invites you to take a dip and enjoy the stunning views. It is also popular with snorkelers and divers due to its wide variety of corals and abundant marine wildlife. Playa Carabeillo has several restaurants, cafes and bars, but also offers plenty of space for those who wish to sunbathe and relax. It’s also a great spot for plenty of activities such as volleyball - and if you’re up for it, even a bit of cliff-jumping! There's free parking available, and you can find public showers and beach umbrellas to rent.

Just outside the beach there's a fantastic hiking trail that passes through a nature reserve. If you're into photography, here you’ll find plenty of opportunities to make shots of the cliffs, the sea and the Mediterranean vegetation. For the perfect views, make your way up to the top of the rocky hill called Punta Lara where you can gaze at the horizon for hours!
