Pipeline

Pipeline and Blackwater Creek are popular hiking trails in Lynchburg, United States. The Pipeline Trail is a 5.5-mile loop of single-track trail with challenging technical climbs and fast descent. From the old water tower at the end of the trail, one can explore Blackwater Creek Woods, a 505-acre nature preserve. Here you can explore the peaceful green forest, and the creek. Lounge in the scenery and take photographs of the occasional wildlife such as white-tailed deer and wild turkeys. There is a small parking lot located on the Recreation Road, and several access points along the Blackwater Creek Trail. Enjoy a leisurely stroll, or a more challenging bike ride on the trail.
