Parliament of Bucharest

Parliament of Bucharest is an iconic and beautiful building located in central Bucharest. Built between 1984 and 1997, it is the seat of Romanian Parliament, the Chamber of Deputies and Senate. The building is noted for its enormous size and grandiose architecture, it is one of the largest buildings and Parliament complexes in the world. The imposing 236-meter high structure accommodates over 1,000 rooms, while the luxurious grounds and gardens span an impressive 90,000 square meters. The Parliament is open to visitors, and guided tours can be booked in advance. It's well worth a visit, as the Parliament not only houses fascinating and detailed Romanian history, but also some impressive artworks and sculptures.
