McGovern Centennial Gardens

McGovern Centennial Gardens is a 4.5 acre botanical garden located in Hermann Park, Houston, United States. The garden, which opened to the public in 2014, features 12 distinct gardens. These collections feature plants in different climates and embrace a wide variety of styles and gardens, including areas devoted to native plants, Mediterranean plants, desert and drought-tolerant plants, as well as a children's garden, an herb garden and a rose garden. The garden also includes a reflecting pool, meandering pathways, butterfly attraction areas and a variety of plants and trees. The unique design of the garden also allows for visitors to explore the gardens from any angle, and it provides a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.
