Lauterbrunnen

Lauterbrunnen is a picturesque alpine valley nestled in the Bernese Alps, in Switzerland. It's surrounded by steep, jagged mountains and dotted with 72 thundering waterfalls that create an impressive sight, especially during the spring and summer. The most famous of these is Staubbach Falls, a remarkable, 900-meter curtain of cascading water. In the middle, you can spot the village of Lauterbrunnen, covered in a blanket of green fields and home to the brilliantly blue, glacial Liitschine River.

Adventurers will love exploring the valley, as it's surrounded by several hiking trails. You can take a cable car up to the Schilthorn peak and look out over the entire region and beyond.
