
Iglesia de San Julián de los Prados - Santullano is an important church located in Oviedo, Spain. The building dates from the late 8th century and its interior is composed of a single nave and an interesting semi-circular apse. It is considered an example of "asturian style" of early medieval architecture. Inside it houses an image of San Julián, the patron of Oviedo. The main facade is decorated with four sculptures of archangels that are considered work of the 12th century. The four bells of the temple, which were exhumed in the 19th century, were originally Hung in the 12th century. It's a unique architectural symbol of Oviedo, definitely worth a visit.
