Haystack Rock Beach

Haystack Rock Beach is located in Cannon Beach, Oregon in the United States. It is one of the most iconic landmarks along the Oregon Coast. The beach is made up of massive basalt rocks and tide pools, with tidepools at its base visible during low tide. Haystack Rock is the third-highest intertidal formation by elevation in Oregon. The beach offers excellent ocean views, beachcombing, surfing, bird watching, and exploring. Visitors can also observe the sea-life such as sea stars, crabs, and a variety of fish. Be sure to check the tide forecast before visiting, as the unique features of the beach are only viewable during low to mid-tide.
