Amsterdam's Channels and Korte Niezel bridge are a beautiful and tranquil part of the city which is often overlooked by tourists. A stroll around the canals, bridges, and streets will take you back in time to the Golden Age of Dutch art and architecture, as many of the buildings date back as far as the 17th century. Here you can find narrow, curved bridges constructed of wood and stone connecting the sides of the canals, as well as stunning ironwork lampposts along the streets.
