The Eiffel Tower is one of the most iconic symbols of France. Located in the Champ-de-Mars Park in Paris, it is a 324-meter-high iron tower that was assembled for the 1889 World's Fair. It towers even higher than the dome of the Notre Dame Cathedral. There are two levels of observation decks at the top of the tower, as well as a open air rooftop deck where you can take some amazing photos. The lower observation deck is accessible by an elevator, and the higher one happens to be the highest accessible observation deck in Europe! It is also worth exploring the base of the tower, where you can find a range of shops and restaurants. Tourists also have the chance to take audio guided tours of the tower, which can shed some more light on its history. The Eiffel Tower is a site not to be missed.
