Cloud 9 Surfing Area is a world-renowned surf spot off the coast of General Luna in the Philippines. The wave peak is well formed and can provide a great ride for intermediate to advanced surfers. The best direction to face when surfing Cloud 9 is west. The length of the ride can reach up to 300 m and the wave can produce a climbable tube with a perfect wall up to 1.5 m high. During every summer, an event called The Cloud 9 Challenge takes place which attracts professional surfers from all over the globe. Cloud 9 is a great place to experience the amazing power of the ocean's waves.
