Snæfellsnesvegur is a stunningly beautiful route in West Iceland, taking you through some of the incredible landscapes Iceland has to offer. The nature along the route varies from dramatic mountains, spectacular ocean views to deep volcanic valleys -all set to the backdrop of Iceland's highest mountain range, the Snæfellsjökull. Along the way, you'll see some unique landmarks such as the Lóndrangar sea-stacks and the basalt rock formations at Arnarstapi and Hellnar. With the deep green valley of Botnsdalur on one side, and the highland moorland around the mountain of Hraunfjäll on the other, you'll have plenty of opportunities to marvel at the stunning Icelandic nature.
