Lakeuden Risti Church

Lakeuden Risti Church is a Lutheran church located in the Finnish city of Seinäjoki. This Neo-Gothic brick church was built in 1941. Designed by Finnish master architect Eliel Saarinen, the church is one of the most iconic buildings in Seinäjoki. The tower of the church is the highest structure in the city, reaching over 37 meters. Inside the church you'll find a wooden altarpiece carved by sculptor Kaarlo Mikola. The church also has a memorial for soldiers who fought and died in civil war of 1918. This historic site is a must for tourists visiting Seinäjoki.
