Ile-Alatau National Park is located in the Almaty region of Kazakhstan, with a total area of 25,250 hectares. It's home to a diverse array of wildlife, including mountain goats, snow leopards, bears, golden eagles, and over 285 recorded species of birds. It's also home to an estimated 60 glaciers and over 100 mountain peaks. There are numerous trails to hike and access to many natural mountain rivers and lakes. The scenery is breathtaking, with lush green grasslands awakening in summer, high mountains covered in a blanket of snow in winter, and vibrant colors in the spring and fall. Visitors can also enjoy a unique cultural experience from visiting the villages on the fringes of the park. There are plenty of activities to experience - from horse riding to rock climbing, skiing to snowshoeing. No matter the season, the park provides something for everyone to enjoy.
