El Bolsón and its neighboring Cerro Piltriquitron are must-see sites in the Río Negro province of Argentina. El Bolsón is known for its vibrant artisan culture, mountain adventures, and spectacular views of Patagonian lakes and forests. Visitors can explore the artisan fairs and colorful downtown, stroll around the lake, or take in some of the challenging outdoor activities like rafting, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Cerro Piltriquitron is a sentinel watching over the area, with its almost 5000 meter summit; hikers and mountaineers can take on the challenge of summiting it and taking in some of the most breathtaking views from the region.
