Calatrava's Tower

Built in the 1990s, the Torre de Calatrava is a giant tower standing 125 meters tall. Located in central Barcelona, it stands tall among the buildings of the city and is a stunning piece of architecture. Composed from an iron and concrete structure, the tower stands as a central landmark to many of the city's famous neighborhoods. Due to its position and height, it offers an amazing panoramic view over Barcelona, which many visitors ascend to enjoy. The tower is often a favorite spot for photographers, but try to avoid the long lines at the entrance to the observation deck. The site is always busy, so come early and find ample photo opportunities in the small park that sits at its base.
