Tower in Almaty, Kazakhstan is an architectural monument of the 20th century. Built in 1974 in the Kazakh styly with Tatar elements of the Russian Empire, in the form of a tower, it was intended as part of a government complex but has stood alone since 1991. Located in the center of Almaty, the tower is a significant historical landmark of the city. The tower stands 19 meters high and is set upon 7 steps in its classical form. The Tower is surrounded by a historic park and is a popular spot for visitors looking for a view of the city.
