The Kelpies

The Kelpies and Park is a majestic and spectacular site which stands on the banks of the Forth and Clyde Canal in Scotland, United Kingdom. It sculpture consists of two 30-meter-high horse-head structures made of steel and fiberglass, designed by artist Andy Scott. It was created to show an imaginative interpretation of two heavy horses which once plowed the fields around Scotland. The structure is illuminated at night and looks particularly impressive. The surrounding park makes for a pleasant walk and offers great views of the Kelpies and Forth and Clyde Canal. There are various activities such as canoeing, cycling and bird watching at the park. The site is highly appreciated by tourists and photographers from all over the world.
