The Firts Church of Christ Scientist

The First Church of Christ, Scientist stands amid many other important religious and historical buildings in Boston, Massachusetts. It is located in the center of the city on Massachusetts Avenue, directly across from the beautiful Boston Common. Built between 1895 and 1906 this historic Romanesque Revival building is renowned for its ornate and striking decorative exterior. The building stands awe inspiring with its columns, stained glass, and intricately carved stone. Inside, admire the mahogany pews, the marble-floored sanctuary, and the gorgeous chandeliers. One of the features that stands out most is the curved grand staircase that greets visitors in the main lobby. This unique building is certainly worth a visit when in the city and is a great spot for tourists and photographers alike.
